Why we started Different Dog?

It didn’t feel right to be feeding our furry friend Crumble highly processed food. As the saying goes, "you are what you eat" and that’s true for dogs too. We set out to prove that real, nutritious food is a better route to health and happiness.

Starting out

We spent many hours cooking on our hob, perfecting recipes for Crumble and her doggy friends. We couldn’t believe the difference we saw in her health which inspired us to keep going.

Recipe perfecting (a labour of love)

It took 18 months, many lab visits and 150 tweaks to perfect our very first recipe ‘Chicken Casserole’ which is still on the menu today. Our pet nutritionist, Bianca, develops and approves all of our recipes.

Meet our devoted team

We’ve grown from a team of 3 to over 90 in the Different Dog family today and it's safe to say we’re all dog obsessed. Some of our customers have even come to work for us after being inspired by the difference they’ve seen in their dogs.
